Jan Schelhaas is known for his keyboard playing with National Head Band - Gary Moore Band - Thin Lizzy - Camel and Caravan.

Whilst taking time out from his band works Jan has released three solo albums, Dark Ships, being his first. Originally released through Esoteric in 2008, this long deleted album has been remastered and re-sissued in the digi format. Plans are to also release his two other solos.

Dark Ships feature guest musicians Dougie Boyle and Jimmy Hastings from Caravan.
