You Smell So Good (aka Jackie and Roy) was the first album under their own name (and one of the best) by the husband-and-wife team of Jackie Cain (1928-2014) and Roy Kral (1921-2002). It carries all the hallmarks of their style: wordless scatting on some tunes, playful lyrical interplay on others, and a focus on Jackie’s talents on some of the ballads, on which Kral mostly limits himself to back her at the piano.
