Indie-pop quintet Hushtones announce their new album Wildfower in the Mystery to be released on 19th September

Formed in the heart of Liverpool, Hushtones is made up of Martha, Mick, Caitlin, Abe, and Joe, who found each other through the city's vibrant grassroots music scene. From open mic nights to pub jam sessions, their journey is steeped in the kind of DIY ethos and community spirit that has long defned Liverpool's musical legacy.

Following their 2021 debut album Greetings From The Other Side, Hushtones earned coveted tour support slots with the likes of Red Rum Club, Tim Burgess, and She Drew The Gun.

Known for their distinctive blend of male-female dual vocals , heartfelt songwriting, and infectious guitar-driven soundscapes, Hushtones have been steadily carving out their place in the UK music scene. With continued airplay and support from BBC 6music, BBC Radio 1 + glowing praise from Clash Magazine, the band's momentum shows no sign of slowing.

Written over the course of two years, Wildfower in the Mystery paints a picture of over-coming personal issues and the growing pains that come with pushing yourself into a new phase of life. This album is a time-stamp for all those amazing and scary new experiences.
