 Founded in 2011 by David S., Ben R., René B. and Jan G., Human Waste built their foundation the hard way - through relentless live activity and no particular interest in shortcuts. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2015 after years of gigging, including an appearance at the NRW Deathfest at AJZ Bahndamm in Wermelskirchen.
 In 2016 the band completed a ten-day European tour alongside Pighead and In Demise, with dates across Germany, Italy, Belgium, Scotland and England and performed at Deathfeast Festival in Andernach.
 With ‘Misery Obsessions’, Human Waste mark a clear expansion - integrating black metal atmosphere, grindcore intensity and crust punk abrasiveness without abandoning the brutal core that has always defined them. It is their most ambitious and complete record to date.
 Being a long-term crucial impulse of and for the local extreme metal scene in the Ván Records' hometown Aachen / Aix La Chapelle it might we obviously, but still worth to underline the personal bonds between band and label.
 Since 2013, Human Waste have also organised the annual Knüppel Aus Dem Sack Festival at AZ Aachen - a long-running underground metal event that speaks to a commitment to their scene extending well beyond their own band.
