KUMP is delighted to release the first EP by HLM38, the naughty half of duo Ricco (Markus Gibb + HLM38) and member of the Notte Brigante crew from Lyon. The three original tracks, a mix of ethnic looting and industrial racket in slow motion, feel like steel wrapped in Turkish delight. Front De Cadeaux' take on "Illicite Cong" is reminiscent of an erotic rave flavoured with Oriental spices. Last but not least, Kris Baha slices up "Exit" like a tablier de sapeur (local Lyonnais dish) served on a julienne of syncopated samples and noisy beats.
