Interstellar is a 2014 science fiction film directed by Christopher Nolan. The film score is composed by Hans Zimmer, who previously scored Nolan's Batman film trilogy and Inception.

The 2014 epic science fiction film Interstellar was directed by Christopher Nolan and starred Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine. The film depicts a crew of astronauts forced to travel through a wormhole in search of a new home for humankind after the Earth regresses into a failing agrarian society after a blight infects the crops. Hans Zimmer is a German film score composer and music producer. His works are notable for integrating electronic music with traditional orchestral arrangements. Since the 1980s, Zimmer has composed music for over 150 films. He has won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for The Lions King (1994) and Dune (2021). His works include Gladiator, The Last Samurai, The Pirates of the Caribbean series, the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, No Time to Die, and the Dune series.
