Sony Masterworks is thrilled to announce the Blu-Ray release of The World of Hans Zimmer - Live in Krakow. Captured in breathtaking cinema quality during the acclaimed global tour, this concert film brings audiences closer than ever to the emotional power and scale of Hans Zimmer’s music. Recorded at a very special performance in Krakow, the film features Zimmer’s long time musical collaborators - including Pedro Eustache, Lisa Gerrard and Lebo M. - alongside the Odessa Orchestra & Friends and the Nairobi Chamber Choir, conducted by Gavin Greenaway. Although Zimmer does not appear on stage throughout the tour, he joins the ensemble in Krakow for this unique event. The film showcases 17 of Zimmer’s most iconic works, reimagined as expansive new orchestral suites. Standout moments include a sweeping, concerto like performance of Final Ascent from No Time to Die, a serene new interpretation of A Time of Quiet Between the Storms from Dune: Part Two, and a lush romantic suite from The Prince of Egypt. Fans will also be excited to hear Zimmer revisit one of his classic 1990s scores with a newly crafted suite from The Rock.
