 Jay Watson has been releasing records under his GUM moniker for over a decade, and the recordings have followed his wildest creative impulses. For his seventh studio album, GUM has focussed on nine songs that explore a specific mood and sound.
 ‘Blue GUM Way’ sets its roots deep into a widescreen, jazz-informed psychedelia, one influenced by the likes of Talk Talk and Radiohead’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’. This LP is the work of an artist who has reached the clearest sense of what he wants to say.
 Following the release of the GUM and Ambrose KennySmith (King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard / The Murlocs) project ‘Ill Times’, this is GUM’s first solo release via p(doom) records.
