Not unlike how the Terminator was sent into the past to stop Sarah Connor from giving birth (durst the child stop Skynet from arraying itself, clubbing humanity to its own ends) so too does Goldie's seismic early EP 'Terminator', named after the mid directorial James Cameron cybern-epic, burst out of the past, inciting us to consider an earlier time. Newly cut vinyl and digital release, it's the first time this one has seen a vinyl reissue; originally out in 1992 as Rufige Kru, these raspy ones by Goldie helped map the very terrain of jungle and drum & bass itself, with time-stretching innovations and unrelenting intensity. 'Terminator' and 'Kemistry' (the latter voiced by Diane Charlemagne) remain the main draws, now fully remastered alongside 'Knowledge' and 'Sinister', with the instrumental 'Untouchable Mix' of 'Kemistry' included as a digital bonus here.
