Though a long-running progressive label with no necessary need to prove themselves, Anjunadeep have recently launched a new label sampler series, Explorations, which makes sense for an imprint so densely populated with releases one might not have a heads-or-tails sense of where to start. This third vinyl instalment proves them a worthy proving ground for upstart artists, being an evolution of another V/A editions series that ran between 2016 and 2023 and helped break Ben Bohmer, CRi, Luttrell and Rezident. Approaching 50 digital releases since launch, this sampler keeps the format tight: six tracks, hand-stamped white label, a mix of rising names and returning faces: here Giom, Foglight, AFFKT, DJ Poolboi and more.
