Two new vinyl commemorate the great Austrian pianist Friedrich Gulda’s 90th birthday in May: “Friedrich Gulda’s Favourite Concertos by Mozart” was printed on the original sleeve (backside) of his recordings of Concertos Nos. 25 and 27 with the Wiener Philharmoniker and Claudio Abbado in 1976. Originally released on 1-LP, these memorable interpretations will now be presented for the first time in a 2-LP set for even greater audio fidelity. Piano Sonatas Nos. 17 and 16 and the Fantasia in C Minor, originally released in 1990 (recordings from 1978), will be available on vinyl for the very first time.
