Rawax continues to reissue golden musical nuggets from the bulging back catalogue of Scottish producer Callum Walker AKA Fresh & Low, once one of the UK's most reliable deep house producers. Here they take us back to the turn of the millennium, bringing together cuts from both of Walker's 'Fresh Juice' singles on Black Vinyl Records. 1999's 'Fever Tension' nestles on side A, with the Blaxploitation funk-sampling bumpin' chunkiness of the original mix being joined by the deeper, dreamier and breezier 'Version' take. We skip forward to 2000 on side B, where we get two takes on the lightly Latin-tinged warmth of 'Especiale' - the loose-limbed Brazilian-influenced summer house dance of the 'Carnival Mix', and the drums and Latin percussion solos flex of the 'Snap On Dub'.
