Now distributed through Cargo, a repress of False Heads debut album first released on 13th March 2020, days before COVID restrictions hit. ‘It’s All There but You’re Dreaming’ is the culmination of 4+ years of hard work from the post-punk trio, who have been going in at full pelt since 2015. The 12 tracks delve deep into the world of gnarly, outspoken real-talk, riff-heavy rock music delivered with maximum authenticity and passion. Their music has featured on BT TV’s playlist, YouTube’s ‘New Rock and Metal’ playlist, Soccer AM, Spotify’s ‘New Noise’ and ‘All New Rock’ playlists, Apple Music’s ‘Breaking Rock’ playlist and Amazon’s ‘Best New Bands’ playlist amongst many others. There has been constant radio support from Jack Saunders (BBC R1), Steve Lamacq and Iggy Pop (BBC 6 Music), Gordon Smart (Radio X), John Kennedy (Radio X) and Huw Stephens (BBC R1), as well as Rodney Bingenheimer (Sirius XM) and multiple stations across North and South America. False Heads’ reputation is picking up more pace than ever, as their sound reaches ears on a global scale, with support from some of the biggest names in the business. It’s no secret that ex-Ramones manager Danny Fields has deemed them “one of the best live bands in the world,” whilst Iggy Pop said “they are young and talented and going places, if they came to my town I’d show up for that, if they come to your town you might wanna show up.” The album received fantastic press reviews including a glowing 8/10 from Clash Magazine and with 2.3 million Spotify and 960k Apple streams, and a new album scheduled for 2022 this is a truly exciting band with incredible future prospects.
