Fabrizio Poggi and Enrico Pesce walk down the path traced by Nina Simone, John Lewis of the Modern Jazz Quartet, Oscar Peterson, and Keith Jarett – great artists that managed to wonderfully and surprisingly combine blues, jazz, and classical music. Enrico Pesce's piano occasionally reminds of the magnetic and evocative sound of Hosea Lee Kennard, Howlin' Wolf's amazing and underestimated pianist, while Poggi's invariably acoustic harmonica is the ancient yet modern red thread that connects the Mississippi blues with the vibes of the contemporary world.
