From Boris Pigovat 's Shulamit, inspired by the Song of Songs and coloured by lyrical, impressionistic writing, to Chiel Meijering's The Lips of Pythia, evoking the mysterious voice of the Delphic oracle, richly contrasting sound. Alexandre Ouzounoff's Paysage d Automne refects the French impressionism, George Barcos' Piezas Intimas, infuses his music with the rhythmic vitality of Latin America. Yoshimatsu Takashi 's White Landscapes unmistakable "new lyricism" combines Japanese sensitivity with contemporary zen, while Pierre Vellones ' Impressions d Espagne fascination with innovative sonorities from different cultures lends the album its souvenirs spirit of Spain.
