 “‘Inkyra’ is an album that has been waiting to be made for many years now, so to finally be at this point is quite surreal. The whole project is extremely close to my heart and it has been a privilege to realise this project with such special people. The seed of this album began at the Royal Academy of Music in a lesson with Pete Churchill, to whom I owe so much as a writer. It was in that room that I first heard the opening melody of the
album in my head, and rushed home to write it down, beginning the creation of a full album that has been truly fulfilling and exciting to make.
 “From there, the project grew into what I truly regard as a band - David, Scottie, Kevin, Jamie and Gareth are as integral to this album as the music, and it could not exist without them. Since our first concert together back in 2021 in a small London nightclub, there has been a special chemistry within this group, and I could not be more grateful to them for everything they have given this project.
 “‘Inkyra’ is the obvious next step for me as an artist. I am delighted to share it with the world, and even more excited to see what kind of life it takes on after its release.” - Emma Rawicz
