Echo Gecco is a 3 piece jazz influenced prog/rock band from Stourbridge/Worcester, who were supported very early on by BBC Introducing. Echo Gecco are known for their bold defiance of song writing convention. Since signing to Eingang Records at the end of 2020, producer Jared Bryant (Severn Valley Recording Studios) was tasked to capture Echo Gecco’s unique sound, with a focus on delivering the artistic integrity of each song, within the context of an artistically diverse album. Eingang Records soft released ‘Self Titled’ in October 2022, making it available at live shows and via Bandcamp. ‘Self Titled’ quickly received glowing reviews from several publications such as MMH and Slapmag. Echo Gecco’s live show reputation continues to grow in popularity, and stature. In December 2022 Echo Gecco opened for classical rockers Focus (receiving another glowing review) and on April 15th 2023 Echo Gecco opened HRH Prog 13 at the O2 Academy in Sheffield, to rapturous applause and a subsequent magazine interview with Uber Rock. Echo Gecco have grown beyond their Midlands base, with an increasing number of regional festivals and gigs, including Manchester’s R Fest in May, Nozstock, Lakefest and more.

Over the past 12 months, Echo Gecco have received airplay from BBC Introducing, ERB Radio, WCRFM, BRMG Radio, Smile Radio, Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Mixtape (January 2023) and more. Echo Gecco have recorded for BBC Introducing, opened the Introducing stage at Lakefest 2021 and members of the band have also enjoyed several media interviews over recent months.

With physical distribution in place, Eingang Records will begin streaming promotion, specific social media and a new campaign of radio promotion from May 2023, starting with Spotify and Apple Music, to support retail activity and the summer festival season.
