It was also the soundtrack for the 1975 motion picture with the same name.

The album topped both the Billboard 200 and R&B charts and has since been certified multi- platinum.
 
That’s The Way Of The World is available as a 50th anniversary edition of 2000 numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold sleeve with linen laminate finish and includes an insert.
