San Francisco-based artist Coatshek aka Sheki Cicelsky invites you deep into his Sound Bath, a hypnotic entry in Dark Entries' series featuring original mixes commissioned for an imaginary queer bathhouse by the now-defunct poppers brand Double Scorpio. Using minimal gear such including a few synths, Telecaster, and generous doses of reverb and delay, Coatshek brews sultry ambient techno at exactly 107bpm and full of inspiration taken from the likes of Pink Floyd and Manuel Gottsching's E2-E4. The result is smoky, slow-burning and immersive sound like the grooving 'Softest' and psychedelic 'Triple?Virgo.' It's a wonderfully imaginative and sensual listen.
