From the early 1960s onward, Claudia (or Claudya, as she would later be credited on her records) became a moderately successful ye-yé singer in Spain. In 1970, probably in a belated attempt to embrace the soul music craze that had also reached Spain by then, they released this single featuring two dancefloor-friendly, fresh-sounding versions of Anglo-American hits: 'Un millón de lágrimas,' originally a hit for the American rock band The Grass Roots (I'd Wait a Million Years), and 'No te creas tú que tan loca estoy,' a Spanish adaptation of Bill Deal & The Rhondels' 'What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am.'
