Sonic Groove Old Gold, the new sub-label of Sonic Groove releasing rare techno obscurities from decades past, debuts with two rare 1996/97 deep acid gems by CAT 1, originally released on Germany's Overdrive. With scarce original copies fetching very high prices online at over 100 euro, "Revolution" and "Axion" have been updated for modern sound systems. Adam X has layered new, prominent kicks onto both tracks, bolstering the drive for today's dancefloors while keeping the original arrangements 100% intact.
