Scottish singer-songwriter Brodie Barclay releases new single ‘Backflip’, the follow up to indie track ‘Bad Routines’, his first with Communion Records. This comes alongside the announcement of his debut EP ‘Reverse Cowboy’, recorded with Kev Jones (Wunderhorse, Bear’s Den) at The Communion Studio in Crouch End, which will also be available on vinyl on 17th October. “I just want the songs I write to be used as spells to help people and those they love” says proud scotsman Brodie Barclay. His song craft blends comedy with tragedy, self- deprecation with authenticity, with a remarkable ability to make his listeners feel like his pals and a relatability that’s as heartbreaking as it is infectious.
