With a range of different sound experiences and artistic creativity, each song tells a unique story that characterises a steady growing relationship with oneself as a human being's mission in life. With "Headway", blacktoothed experiment far more than in previous releases and venture into both heavier and electronic territories.

The frst single releases "Novocaine" and "Carried Away" display the group's diversity in musical arrangements and easily outplay previous releases. For the production of the 9-track album, blacktoothed relied on their proven team of award-winning producers Christoph Wieczorek and Julian Breucker , who have already worked with up- and coming artists like Electric Callboy, Future Palace, Beyond the Black and many - to guarantee the sound quality that a modern rock album like "Headway" deserves. For the visual display of the album's singles, the band collaborated with Peter Leukhardtas their videographer and Marius Rietze, who contributed all artworks.
