 Released in early 2019, ‘City Pop’ was Benny Sings’ first release for Stones Throw. Now available to independent retailers on transparent ‘baby blue’ vinyl.
 The album was inspired by and written in cities all over the world, including New York, LA, Tokyo, Paris and Benny’s hometown of Amsterdam.
 ‘City Pop’ features some of Benny’s most streamed songs, including ‘Not Enough’ (4.26M streams), ‘Dreamin’’ (2.24M streams) and ‘Familiar’ (1.46M streams).
 ‘City Pop’ sees Benny blend influences of AOR, R&B, pop, soul and jazz.
 Benny worked with Tokyo artist Ryu Okubo for the album art illustration.
 ‘City Pop’ was co-produced by Renaud Letang of Studio Ferber in Paris, who has worked with Feist, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lianne La Havas.
