YOVA are Macedonian born Jova Radevska (vocals/lyrics) & London based Mark Vernon (music).
The duo’s third album ‘Attractive Forces’ is released on May 22nd via Quartertone Records/Right Track/ Universal and preceded by a single ‘Affection’ on March 25th.
The album was recorded in London, Cornwall and Macedonia 2024 - 2025. It was produced by Mark Vernon and mixed in Bristol by TJ Allen (Portishead, Bat For Lashes, Hannah Peel)
The album includes 7 brand new songs written by the duo along with a version of The Velvet Underground’s Pale Blue Eyes originally released in 1969.
As with their previous two albums, for Attractive Forces YOVA have continued to collaborate with the collective of Daniel O’Sullivan ( Sunn O))), Grumbling Fur), Alex Thomas (John Cale, Anna Calvi), Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey, Nick Cave), David Rhodes (Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel) and the veteran pedal steel guitar player BJ Cole (Beck, Spiritualized).
