Abdelli Abderrahmane, Algerian composer and singer, explores the feelings associated with exile, loss and nostalgia through his native Berber tongue.
He blends his Kabyle vocals and mandola skills with the works of other talented musicians from far and wide. The result is an acknowledgment of the sad issues that shadow this world, mixed and uplifted by the inspiration and unity of different cultures.

A collaboration of influences from North Africa, Armenia, Brazil, Belgium... A c - knowledges the experiences of exile Expressed through his native Berber tongue, Abdelli acknowledges the feelings of displacement and loneliness that often arise for many people experiencing exile. With North African bendirs, Armenian duduks and Brazilian pandeiros, Abdelli blends his traditional Kabyle singing with modern and traditional influences from around the world.
Abdelli has performed with the likes of Ravi Shankar, Natacha Atlas and Hosssam Ramzy, and was the supporting act for Peter Gabrielle’s ‘Growing up’ tour. His worldwide tours have taken him and his musicians to Pakistan, Morocco, the United States, France and Switzerland to name a few.
