This release of The Enid - 'Touch Me' (Cat No ENID033CD) includes two beautiful bonus tracks on an already incredible album; ‘Dambusters March / Land Of Hope And Glory’ & ‘The Skyeboat Song’. The artwork stays true to the original 1979 release and includes a worthwhile and interesting ‘Brief History of The Enid’. 'Touch Me' was The Enid’s third studio album, originally released in 1979, it was the first The Enid album to be entirely self-produced, and their first step toward complete autonomy and self-sufficiency.
The Enid did not disappoint, producing one of their finest albums; recorded during November/December 1978 and January 1979 at their own studios, Beanside Lodge, they easily captured the trademark emotion and depth that is synonymous with The Enid.
