Some musicians retreat to a cabin in the woods to write a new album, and others try on a new city

For Julian Karlsson, who makes music as Selmer, he didn't have to go far to write his debut album: his bathroom. Selmer specifcally relies on his shower as a space to sort through his thoughts which, inevitably, transform into melodies. The Oslo based singer, songwriter, and guitarist captured his mid- bathing introspections and expanded them into the eight songs that make up Body Wash, his debut album.The record features collaborations with Paul Cherry (Eyedress, Cuco, Temporex), Whose Rules (Dev Lemons, Ralph Castelli), and Jez_ebel.The album is a collection of thoughts and emotions that you contemplate while in the shower and a tribute to the meditative peace of mind that you get from those couple of minutes in the shower every day. This is one of the biggest recurring themes on the album, which is why I made it the title track. Many of the lyrics and melodies started out as humming in the shower, which eventually became the album.

Marketing will be handled in North America and UK by Terrorbird media as well as PR and radio with 777 will promote in Europe.
