During the last 18 years of her life, the lyricist Fran Landesman met weekly to work with the pianist/composer Simon Wallace to write songs.

This album features both the first and last songs written by Fran with Wallace and are here performed by vocalist Sarah Moule.

She is joined by a group of leading UK musicians, including Simon Wallace (piano), Mick Hutton (bass), Paul Robinson (drums) and special guests: Mark Lockheart (saxophone), Nigel Price, Charlie Cawed (guitar), Rod Young (drums) and Neville Malcolm (double bass).

Landesman wrote for stars such as Sarah Vaughan, Barbara Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald. Landesman met British composer Simon Wallace in 1994, and collaborated with him for the rest of her life. She and Wallace wrote some 300 songs together in total.
