"Human. :II: Nature." - the name of Nightwish's new album for 2020 says it all. Because the successor to "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" from 2015, which reached number one in Finland and number two in Germany, is a concept album. This was not originally planned, but because the lyrics were much about humanity and nature, the Finnish symphonic metallers stayed on this track. A good decision.
Nightwish recorded "Human. :II: Nature." between August and October 2019 at the Röskö campsite, Petrax Studios in Hollola, Finnvox Studios in Helsinki and Troykington Castle studio. The production was handled by Tero Kinnunen, Mikko Karmila and Troy Donockley.
