Multi-instrumentalist Hanna - aka Warren Harris - has been a firm favourite of people such as Theo Parrish, Steven Julien and Floating Points, and it’s easy to hear why. The revered producer now delivers a thrillingly unique three tracker for Penelope. Title track “Champion” is a swinging syncopated anthem, sure to make its way to many a sunshine set. Centre stage on “Still” are Hanna’s own mesmerising vocals, guided by a dramatic synth melody and jumpy bass line. “Until” is a hypnotic loopy driver. Soft spoken, yet accompanied by a tempo-setting bassline and a lovely set of atmospheric stabs.
