Their love of Jamaican and UK 70's roots and dub is their north star, but eclectic crates of records and a couple decades worth of punk shows bleed through on tape. Twin brothers Marc & John Beaudette on drums and bass telekinetically lock-in with Zack Brines' layers of vintage organs and electric pianos in concise melodic meditations.

While largely original compositions, three covers encapsulate the lyrical and musical themes found throughout the LP; an alienation anthem from Northwest punk pioneers Wipers; the theme from the cult classic animated flm La Planete Sauvage, featuring the acclaimed jazz harpist Brandee Younger; and quite possibly the frst dubwise Sun Ra tribute.

Their own singles like "Believers & Deceivers" and "Jackals" confront the grim reality of modern culture, wondering if life in America, and/or Earth, is worth fghting for or leaving behind. Through it all the drum and bass is there, to help you hold your ground and to guide your escape into sonic space.
