You can't keep a good record down. This triple vinyl collection of previously unheard archive material from Sushitech regular and second generation Detroit techno producer Delano Smith first surfaced in 2017, and this is not the first time it's been reissued, either. Maybe it's not surprising when you consider the likes of excellent ambient meditation 'Layover' or the space-filled (and spaced out) dub techno workout 'The 11th Hour' aren't so much tied to any particular time and feel as fresh as when they first hit some eight years ago. He's not one to revert to type, either. 'Where Am I' and 'The Rock (Version)' have a sassy strut that's as close to original Chicago house vibes as Motor City, but Smith brings it all in under one glorious roof.
