Taking inspiration from bands like Weather Report and Soft\u003cbr\u003eMachine, its explosive introduction leads you to a dub-like breakdown,\u003cbr\u003ecreating an open space for Shepherd to let loose his synthesizer for some deep\u003cbr\u003espace, Headhunters’esque exploration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e‘Yardley Suite’ is a song first conceived by band leader Ed ‘Tenderlonious’\u003cbr\u003eCawthorne back in 2012. Having lied dormant for several years it felt like an\u003cbr\u003eappropriate time to pull it back out the bag. It’s a composition inspired by\u003cbr\u003eCawthorne’s solo work as an electronic producer, under his alias\u003cbr\u003eTenderlonious.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAlways wanting to merge his various approaches, ‘Yardley Suite’ is the perfect\u003cbr\u003emix of Jazz and House. With a steady four to the floor beat and snappy horn\u003cbr\u003elines its sure to work its magic on dancefloors around the globe. Having\u003cbr\u003efocused on improvisation and more “open” compositions in the past, the bands\u003cbr\u003enew direction is geared towards tighter, more groove-orientated\u003cbr\u003earrangements.
