Moving to Los Angeles in 1973, collaborations with superstars such as Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Rollins, Jack DeJohnette, Herbie Hancock and Jaco Pastorius culminated in the 1977 hit ‘Sweet Lucy’ (produced by George Duke).
