That track became a Modern Soul anthem, but over the years 'Since You've Been Gone' has become almost as popular and was crying out for a 45 release. In actual fact, there were four previously unheard tracks on that LP as we inadvertently put on an alternate take of 'Just Loving You' featuring a sizeable rap at the start, before Garland slips into that memorable vocal.
