On 'Women of the World', they celebrate the women who have inspired them. The songs are diverse and personal and commemorate the lives of a teenage companion (Covered in Roses), an Afghan tech innovator (the title track) and a dear lost friend (Starfsh Thrower). They also tackle bigger global issues (Yellow and Blue) and chronicle the effects of lockdown (Hollow Days). Their autonomy allows them to follow their muse and hearts, so, across the set, there are glimpses of Celtic, soul, contemporary folk, country, gospel and even the plectrum-whack of Bruce Springsteen. World-class musicians have collaborated on the record, including multi- instrumentalist Mike McGoldrick (from Mark Knopfer's band), Miranda Sykes (Show Of Hands), Tom Chapman (Urban Folk Quartet), electric guitarist, Johnny Heyes (Mica Paris) and Neil Fairclough (Queen). These players have helped create a sophisticated, resonant sound that feels to have come straight out of a top Nashville post-production house, rather than a hideaway in the English Pennines.

UK Tour Dates:
/10 Banbury - The Mill
/10 Hitchin- Hitchin Folk Club
/10 Nettlebed- Nettlebed Folk Club
/10 Southampton- Hanger Farm
/10 Sherringham- Little Theatre
/10 Toft (Cambs)- Social Club
/10 Painswick- Painswick Centre
/10 South Petherton- The David Hall
/10 Penzance- The Acorn
/10 Ashburton- St Andrews Church
/10 Birmingham- Kitchen Garden Cafe
/10 Corsham- The Pound Arts Centre
/10 Bury- The Met
/10 West Kirby-The Arts Centre
/10 Scarborough- Hunmanby Community Centre
/10 Shefeld- The Greystones
/10 Kirkby Stephen- Kirkby Stephen Social Club
/10 Wigton- The John Peel Theatre

Tracks: Women of the World / Seventh Wave / Crow / Starfsh Thrower / Covered in Roses / Beautiful Brave Tattoo / Yellow and Blue / In Dreams / Embrace / Pulling Weeds / Hollow Days

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0130/8714/6043/products/1_82baeaca-7f13-46f8-8ec4-feb5b49847ce.webp?v=1665567751
