This EP is exactly that, three previously unreleased tracks, all taken from the original DAT’s. The original Lonely was a heavy breakbeat piano track and this Jungle remix takes them breaks and goes crazy, chopped and smashed into a classic jungle track. Beyond Life is a crossover track in that style a few people made back in the day, that was neither hardcore nor jungle, but both. Finally, Apro is a jungle track but has the atmospherics of a film soundtrack to drive it forward. That is of course a joke because this EP is proper fire! For many, Funky Sensation is their favourite N-Zo \u0026amp; DJ Invincible track…but for the rest it is this total classic “Take Me Away”! N-Zo \u0026amp; DJ Invincible had a sound that was distinctly their own, being able to take big vocals and pianos mixed with very jungle inspired chopped breaks but keeping the sound firmly hardcore. Take Me Away remains pure goose bump material to this day. With such a classic on one side it’s not surprising that the other side doesn’t get the airtime it deserves. Red 5 is another amazing track that shows off the style of N-Zo \u0026amp; DJ Invincible perfectly but this time without the big piano and female vocal. Don’t let that fool you into thinking that this isn’t really another A side in disguise.
