The Syphons are the house band at Suit Yourself Music, a collective of exceptional musicians. This is their second release and features Fay Hallam on Hammond organ. In 2024 there will be a series of releases with The Syphons featuring other artists and vocalists in the genres of Soul, Northern Soul, Acid Jazz, Mod Jazz, Rhythm & Blues. All these releases will be new compositions taking inspiration from the original artists in these genres, but ‘Respecting The Architect’ by taking influence to pen new music rather than cover versions.

The big beat of Chancer would feel at home in the club scene of a Sixties spy thriller, while Sleight Of Hand with its horn section and clipped funky feeling suggests a car chase through the post industrial dereliction of early 70s London or New York.
