Deutsche Grammophon celebrates the 100th Birthday of the "Troubadour of the keyboard", Géza Anda, in a limited edition 17-CD set which includes the first CD release of rare shellack recordings of music by Bach/Busoni, Scarlatti and Brahms. Presented with original sleeves, a 48pp booklet with new liner notes (English/German) by Anda expert Wolfgang Rathert, and recordings with conductors Ferenc Fricsay, Herbert von Karajan, Rafel Kubelik, and Eduard van Beinum. Anda was for the most part of his sadly too-short career a Deutsche Grammophon artist. The albums, which are not currently in the Digital Supply Chain, will be delivered as individual eAlbums with the artwork from the Complete edition. The physical boxed set will be mirrored as a digital release.
