Alanis Morissette will release her first meditation album with the title “the storm before the calm” on June 17, 2022. This permission-to-feel and safety-to-inquire of a record will be released as digital version and as 2CD. Both versions include 11 relaxing meditation tracks which Morissette wrote together with Dave Harrington. Morissette notes about writing the album: “to all of you, reading this. empaths, highly sensitives…all. whether in person, or online, or at shows, or telepathically… your love and presence and big brains , big souls and big hearts have repeatedly reminded me of why i am here. my connection with you each is a quality of warmth i thank all stars for. may this record be a tool and touchstone for you. may it comfort, uplift, shake the apple cart or offer whatever you may need through your days.”

ABOUT ALANIS MORISSETTE:
Since 1995, Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in contemporary music. The show was nominated for fifteen Tony Awards and won 2 Tony Awards at the 2021 ceremony. In July of 2020, Alanis released her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks In The Road, to rave reviews. In August of 2021, Alanis kicked off her sold out world tour celebrating 25 years of Jagged Little Pill. The tour became the #1 female-fronted tour from 2021 and also one of the Top Worldwide Tours of 2021 selling over 500,000 tickets.
