The infectious ‘Just Memories’ has been playlisted at 1 Xtra for a few weeks already. This vocal collaboration between Alix Perez and young Welsh producer Specific follows their massive ‘Love Bug’. It is a faultless soul-drenched affair of the same league as High Contrast and Calibre’s productions. ‘Under My Skin’, an Alix Perez solo effort, is a gorgeous liquid roller dominated by subtle piano touches and a deep yet warm bassline. For its 12th release, Horizons has yet again delivered high quality music. Watch out for future releases by another hotly tipped producer from the other side of the channel, DJ Red Eyes.
